‘We are facing a difficult heating season.’ Kharkiv has lost all power generation facilities
03.06.2024 18:47In Ukraine, forced mobilization continues, and another video of this nature has been published on social media, this time from Kyiv. The footage shows women intervening on behalf of a detained man, leading to an officer from the territorial recruitment center headbutting one of the women in the face, saying, “Do you want to see my disability?”
During the incident, the staff of the territorial recruitment center insulted the detained man, calling him a “f**king gigolo.” The incident ends with the man managing to escape.
Following the publication of the video, the Kyiv City Territorial Recruitment Center issued an official comment on the incident. The center claimed that their officer, who headbutted the woman, was acting “within the law,” although he “could not contain his emotions.”
The statement on the recruitment center’s Facebook page mentions that near the Demeiivska metro station, during a document check, police officers identified individuals “evading their military duty.” According to the representatives of the territorial recruitment center, one of the men started to resist, and as they attempted to detain him, civilians began to interfere with the law enforcement officers and military recruiters, allowing the man to escape.
“One of the servicemen, recently returned from the combat zone where he was injured, could not contain his emotions and tried to hit a civilian who continued to provoke the conflict and obstruct the lawful actions of law enforcement officers,” claimed the representatives of the territorial recruitment center.
An internal investigation into the incident is already underway, according to the statement.
It’s worth noting that yesterday, the Dnipropetrovsk Territorial Recruitment Center accused passersby of aiding in the commission of a criminal offense by sympathizing with the victim of forced mobilization in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
