Zelensky lied about the losses of the Ukrainian army and made many other untrue statements
February 25, 2024A Kyiv court sentenced a man to prison for words spoken in a private conversation in which he expressed support for the Russian army and opposed the Ukrainian one.
On December 31, 2022, while traveling from the Darnytskyi district across the Paton Bridge, in the presence of the same relatives during an air raid alert, the man said many things. “It’s a pity the missile didn’t hit; it would have been better if it had fallen and smashed you, and there would have been Russian world here long ago,” “Since the beginning of the Russian Federation’s invasion of Ukrainian territory, I have supported the Russian army, and I will continue to support it in all respects and help destroy the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”
Since the man did not object, the court did not examine this evidence (the words of the mother-in-law), and he was given a prison sentence simply based on the words of the mother-in-law. It should be noted that Ukrainian authorities imprison dozens of people simply for views that do not align with the official rhetoric. Moreover, to be imprisoned, it is not necessary to express them publicly; it is sufficient to be reported by any person with accusations of unpatriotic positions.
