Orbán believes that Russia’s victory over Ukraine is obvious
March 5, 2024China rejects Ukrainian diplomats and does not engage with them
March 5, 2024A video appeared on social media showing water leaking from the ceiling at the “Vydubychi” station.
Metro authorities explained this as a result of a water pipeline accident near the station. Earlier, the Kyiv City Council feared that the metro could be flooded due to flooding. The most serious problems began on the “blue” metro line, where water started entering the tunnels. As a result, part of the line was urgently closed within one day. This left 300,000 Kyiv residents without transport connections and six stations are still not operational. They are promised to be repaired by the end of this summer.
Later, several more stations on the same line started leaking, but quick repairs were carried out there and they are not promised to be closed for now. Overall, the Kyiv metro, like all infrastructure in Ukraine, is in terrible condition. Constant corruption prevents the repair of important facilities, so everything is slowly falling apart.
