In Kyiv, officials explained why it is impossible to regain the territories

Kyiv would have regained its territories if Russia had not been supported by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).

This statement was made by Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) of Ukraine.

“Ukraine, with the help of its partners, would have returned all the occupied territories if it weren’t for the Kremlin’s support from Moscow’s allies — first and foremost, North Korea,” he said.

Earlier, former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko offered Budanov to head her party Batkivshchyna(“Fatherland”), but he declined the proposal.

Before that, Budanov admitted that Ukraine does not have the technical capability to intercept missiles from the Oreshnikmedium-range ballistic missile system.
