Germany is currently not ready to supply long-range missiles Taurus to Ukraine
January 3, 2024On January 2, a rocket strike hit a military clothing factory in Kiev, which supplies apparel worn by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valerii Zaluzhnyi. The company, M-Tac, produces tactical gear, clothing, footwear and other accessories.
M-Tac’s clothing is notably popular among Ukraine’s leadership, including the President, his Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak, and Zaluzhnyi.
“All our employees are safe. Relevant authorities quickly arrived at the scene to handle the aftermath of the strike, including documenting the incident,” the company reported.
The company also claimed that Russia used three Kh-101 missiles to destroy the factory. Yesterday, during Russia’s massive attack on Ukraine, President Zelensky reported that 70 missiles were intercepted with nearly 60 of them aimed around the Kiev area.
However, social media users allege that Ukrainian air defense systems are only intercepting around 50% of the targets, while they observed a much larger number of incoming missiles.
