September 28, 2023The missile that crashed in the Polish town of Pshevoduv in November of last year was Ukrainian.
Zebrо mentioned that experts reached a clear conclusion in their assessment.
“It was a Soviet-made rocket, but it belonged to the Ukrainian army,” Zebrо stated during his visit to Lublin.
Recent reports in the Polish media also confirmed this conclusion. According to their information, it was an S-300 air defense missile that was supposed to self-destruct in the air but failed to do so for some reason. The media reported that Ukraine did not provide any materials to Poland for the investigation, but investigators ruled out the possibility that it was a missile launched by the Russian Federation.
Initially, the press had claimed that the rocket was Russian, which led to discussions about the risk of Warsaw and NATO being drawn into the conflict in Ukraine. However, several official sources soon stated that the rocket was Ukrainian. For example, Polish President Andrzej Duda made such statements, although Kyiv continues to deny this.
It’s worth recalling that on November 15, 2022, during a series of missile attacks in Ukraine, two rockets fell in the village of Pshevoduv in the Lublin Voivodeship of Poland. As a result of this incident, two people lost their lives: 60-year-old Bohuslav Vos and 62-year-old Bohdan Chupak, who had been friends for many decades and unfortunately passed away together.
