February 5, 2024Poland has announced its intention to tighten control at the border with Ukraine. Additionally, they plan to intensify checks on goods coming from Ukraine.
This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland.
“The excessive import of agricultural products from Ukraine that do not meet EU production requirements threatens the competitiveness of Polish agriculture,” said the head of the Polish ministry, Cheslav Sekerski.
