In the capital region, there will be increased efforts to catch conscripts for deployment to the front lines

In the Kyiv region, starting today and until the 6th of January, the number of checkpoints will be increased. This information comes from the regional military administration.

Places where people gather, such as shopping centers, supermarkets, train stations and medical facilities, will also be subject to inspection. Authorities state that these are counter-sabotage measures conducted with the involvement of the Security Service of Ukraine, National Police, National Guard and the 114th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade.

“We ask every resident of the Kyiv region and guests of the area to understand the importance of these safety measures and the possible halting of transportation at checkpoints. We remind everyone of the necessity to carry identification documents,” stated the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
