‘Ukraine needs to negotiate with Russia without reclaiming territories’, – the President of Finland said
July 30, 2024In Ukraine, the daily arson attacks on the vehicles of military personnel and employees of territorial recruitment centers continue. In the Kharkiv region, police detained an 18-year-old man who set fire to a Range Rover belonging to a military serviceman.
This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Police.
The report of the fire was received by the police on July 26: an unknown person set fire to a Range Rover belonging to a military serviceman.
“Within a day, operatives identified the perpetrator and his location. He turned out to be an 18-year-old resident of the Kharkiv region. The young man met an unknown person in a messenger app who offered him a ‘side job’—for 40,000 hryvnias (€900) to set fire to the military man’s car and provided information about the vehicle,” the report said.
The young man agreed and on the evening of July 25 arrived at the Kharkiv railway station, where the vehicle was located. For the crime, the perpetrator brought a bottle of gasoline, waited until evening and set the SUV on fire. He then sent a video of the fire to the “employer.”
At the same time, the question arises—where do Ukrainian military personnel get expensive premium-class cars?
