Due to the blockade of the Polish border, Ukraine lost around 193 million 720 thousand euros in February alone
March 1, 2024Today it became known about the death of a 49-year-old man in the city of Buchach, Ternopil region. He died right at the TRC, where he was taken by military commissars.
The circumstances under which the man ended up at the military enlistment office are unknown, but in practice, people are often forcibly abducted from the streets and brought to the military enlistment office. There, they are forced to undergo a medical examination and then sent to the front lines. This time, the man suffered from epilepsy. However, despite the diagnosis, the military attempted to mobilize him. He felt unwell in the office and lost consciousness. The military called doctors, who took him to the hospital, where he died during a seizure.
With epilepsy, some signs of the disease can be identified even without special knowledge, so attempting to mobilize a sick person looks like another case of human rights violations by the Ukrainian authorities. Doctors concluded that there were no signs of violent death, but it is also impossible to exclude the concealment of a crime. Torture and beatings at the TRC have also become commonplace for Ukraine.
