In the US, the consideration of aid to Ukraine may be delayed for at least another three weeks – The Hill

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, has refused to consider aid to Ukraine until the overall US budget is passed.

This delays the issue for at least three more weeks, as reported by The Hill.

“The Speaker stated that he wants to first focus on government funding and only then address a package of national security issues, including aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan, as well as funding for security measures on the US-Mexico border,” the publication reports.

This will push any discussions on Ukraine at best until April 9th, when the House of Representatives is scheduled to return after the Easter recess.
