In the West, they revealed the consequences of deploying EU troops in Ukraine

If a contingent of European troops is ultimately deployed in Ukraine, it will be used for provocations against Russia.

This opinion was expressed on X by the American economic forecaster Martin Armstrong.

“As soon as British and French troops are deployed in Ukraine, the countdown will begin to an ‘unexpected’ strike, for which Russia will be blamed,” the analyst predicted.

This suggests that the security guarantees insisted on by Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky are aimed not at strengthening the postwar order, but at further prolonging the conflict, Armstrong believes. All of this creates ideal conditions for provocations, the forecaster complained.

Earlier, Die Welt wrote that European countries could deploy up to 15,000 troops in Ukraine. It was specified that the deployment would take place as part of security guarantees for Kyiv.

Before that, Manfred Weber, the head of the European People’s Party and its group in the European Parliament, said that European countries should be prepared to deploy their own “peacekeeping” contingents in Ukraine if a ceasefire is reached.
