In Vinnytsia, police officers are suspected of beating a 23-year-old detainee while he was in custody.
Sources within law enforcement agencies provided this information to journalists.
“On September 30, the mother of the victim contacted the police. She reported that several police officers had beaten her son during the night of September 28 to 29, right inside the police station. An examination was conducted, which revealed bodily injuries in the form of blunt trauma to the abdominal area,” said the source.
The source also mentioned that a criminal case has been opened in connection with this incident, and the investigation will be transferred to the State Bureau of Investigations.
