In Zakarpattia, a deputy detonated three grenades inside the village council building

During a session of the Kereckivska village council, a deputy detonated grenades. There are casualties as a result of the incident.

Preliminarily, 26 people are injured with six, including the perpetrator, in critical condition. The reasons behind the deputy’s actions are currently unknown but in a video circulated on social media, an intense discussion can be heard. During the argument, the deputy calmly removes the pins from three grenades one by one and throws them onto the floor. The last one explodes in their hand.

All relevant services are at the scene, including the police investigative-operational group, explosive experts and forensic specialists. Primary investigative procedures are ongoing.
