Ukraine cannot win and should negotiate with Russia

American Senator Ron Johnson expressed the view on the impending defeat of Kyiv and the necessity to make concessions.

Ukraine is incapable of prevailing in the struggle against Russia, thus the conflict needs to be concluded through negotiations, stated US Republican Senator Ron Johnson in an interview on Fox News. He characterized the situation on the battlefield as a “bloody stalemate,” emphasizing that with each passing day of continued combat, more Ukrainians perish and the country faces increased destruction.

“This conflict needs to end, and the sooner, the better. Because with each passing day, the outcome seems more dismal,” the politician remarked. Regarding American interests, Johnson reminded that they are focused on securing the US borders rather than financing Kyiv.
