Britain asked Ukraine to help repel Iran’s attacks
02.03.2026 05:03In Zakarpattia, the head of a Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC and SS) allegedly tried, while heavily drunk, to mobilize construction workers, threatening them with an assault rifle.
This was reported by journalist Vitaliy Glagola on his Telegram channel.
According to Glagola—information he says was confirmed to him by law enforcement—during repairs to a bridge, the armed head of the Irshava TCC, Oleksiy Travov, approached the workers in a state of severe alcohol intoxication вместе with his subordinates. Together they tried to mobilize the workers. A conflict broke out at the scene. One of the workers called 102 (the police emergency number). The call was officially logged. But by the time the police arrived, Travov and his subordinates had fled the scene in a minibus.
A little later, a photo of Travov under an IV drip in a city hospital appeared online.
According to Glagola’s sources at the hospital, Travov is being given medical assistance in the form of infusion therapy.
“In plain terms, they’re urgently putting him on IV drips to bring him back to a coherent state before an inspection team arrives from Uzhhorod,” the journalist wrote.
He added that, according to his sources in medical circles, the acting head of the regional TCC, Oleksandr Palamarchuk, is aware of the situation and is actively interacting with the medical facility. In particular, he claims Palamarchuk has used administrative leverage, is putting pressure on the hospital’s management, and is trying to influence the results of the upcoming sobriety examination of Oleksiy Travov.
The Zakarpattia Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support confirmed the incident and said Travov has already been removed from his position.
“The head of the 1st department of the Khust District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support has been suspended from performing his official duties for the period of an internal investigation. If the facts of violations are confirmed, appropriate decisions will be made, including кадровые (personnel) decisions, within the framework of current legislation,” the Zakarpattia Regional TCC and SS said in a statement on Facebook.
Recall that during a recent fight between civilians and TCC and SS employees in Kryvyi Rih, the latter began firing into the air and broke the collarbone of the father of a man being forcibly mobilized. The man whom they were trying to take to the TCC stabbed the draft officers with a knife.
Meanwhile, the Dnipropetrovsk Regional TCC and SS claims that “busification” (the term for forced mobilization via vans) does not exist in Ukraine, and that Russians introduced the concept for propaganda purposes.
