In Zakarpattia, a woman claimed that recruitment officers beat her father to death

In Zakarpattia, a woman claimed that her father died after being beaten by representatives of the Territorial Recruitment Center.

This was reported by Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets.

According to him, in the Zakarpattia region, a woman stated that her father had been illegally detained by employees of the Territorial Recruitment Center. In her appeal to the Ombudsman’s representative, she indicated that the man was beaten, which led to his death.

To clarify all the circumstances of the case, Lubinets sent a request to the Prosecutor General.

Lubinets also noted that the number of complaints regarding unlawful actions by representatives of Territorial Recruitment Centers in Zakarpattia has increased.

Earlier, media reported that in the Rivne region, a man slit his wrists in a Territorial Recruitment Center after being “restrained” by eight military officials.

It was also reported that in Zakarpattia, military officers beat and sent a paralyzed man to serve.
