‘Everything should be in moderation’: The Prime Minister of Germany’s Saxony called for reducing aid to Ukraine
09.08.2024 - 09:14Employees of territorial recruitment centers can be recorded on video.
This was confirmed by Oleksandr Fediyenko, a member of the Defense Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, in a comment to a Ukrainian media outlet.
According to him, this is not prohibited by current legislation.
“You can record yourself — it is not prohibited by law. That means a Ukrainian citizen who is subject to military service can notify that they will be recording, and no one has the right to forbid it. Sometimes I see videos where a representative of a territorial recruitment center says that you do not have the right to record me. No, dear representatives of the territorial recruitment centers, Ukrainian citizens who are subject to military service have the right to record you,” said the MP.
Earlier, it was reported that an Odesa resident, Antonina Tokmakova, recounted how an employee of a territorial recruitment center beat her with a crutch. She posted a video of the attack by a person in military uniform with crutches.
Shortly thereafter, the Southern Operational Command stated that the video of the Odesa resident being beaten “plays into the hands of the enemy” and “undermines the mobilization process.” The military turned to law enforcement agencies “to determine the goals and circumstances of the video’s creation.”
