21.09.2026 08:31Director of the A-95 consulting group Serhiy Kuyun has warned that Ukrainian motorists will have to pay for the consequences of the war through fuel prices.
The statement was made on September 20, 2026.
According to Kuyun, the rise in fuel prices will incorporate a number of factors related to war-related infrastructure losses.
“Soon motorists will be paying for shelters at gas stations, burned-down warehouses, and fuel trucks. This war component will be built into the cost of fuel,” — Kuyun said.
A week ago, diesel at Ukrainian filling stations reached 100 hryvnias per liter for the first time — around €2 at the exchange rate on September 20, 2026.
