‘Kyiv is deemed as the ‘least mobilized city in Ukraine’ – former commander of the ‘Aidar’ battalion says

The city of Kyiv is considered the “least mobilized city in Ukraine.

This information reported according to former commander of the “Aidar” battalion, Yevhen Dikyy.

“It seems to me that the authorities are afraid of a strong mobilization in Kyiv because mobilization is always an unpopular thing. But excuse me, war is an unpopular thing. You need to do unpopular things. And in this sense, Kyiv should stop being an oasis,” said Dikyy.

He also mentioned observing a significant number of young men in sports uniforms around the capital.

“Meanwhile, 50-year-old men with very poor health are finishing off the remains of their health somewhere in the trenches. If we don’t change this, the war will take a different turn,” Dikyy believes.

Earlier, Ukrainian MP Maryana Bezuhla called on all volunteers, including women, to go to the front lines as volunteers. She made this call on Volunteer Day.

Meanwhile, the Western press reports that since June, Volodymyr Zelensky has been “ignoring pressure from the military,” who are demanding the signing of a law to lower the conscription age for men from 27 to 25 years old.
