December 7, 2023‘Kyiv is deemed as the ‘least mobilized city in Ukraine’ – former commander of the ‘Aidar’ battalion says
December 7, 2023The United States has expressed a significant concern over the risk of Ukraine suffering defeat in the war if support from allies is not continued.
This statement was made by John Kirby, the White House Coordinator for Strategic Communications.
“There is a substantial risk that Ukraine could lose,” he told journalists, addressing the absence of a decision from the US Congress regarding funding for Kyiv.
Kirby refrained from responding to whether the US administration has a ‘Plan B’ in case an agreement with Congress for providing new aid to Ukraine cannot be reached. However, he mentioned that Washington would do what it could, albeit in an extremely limited capacity.
Meanwhile, the US Defense Department spokesperson, Pat Ryder, stated that the Pentagon still has about $6 billion remaining for military assistance to Ukraine.
