“Zelensky will be put on trial by the next president,” – Medvedchuk said
February 15, 2025U.S. President Donald Trump did not directly answer the question of whether Ukraine or Russia is to blame for the current crisis.
Journalists asked the American leader this question during a press conference at the White House, as reported by Fox News.
“I think many can be blamed. I’ll put it very simply: if I were president, this wouldn’t have happened,” Trump said.
Earlier, Trump blamed former President Joe Biden for provoking Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“I think Russia attacked Ukraine because they saw that these guys (the Biden administration) are incompetent, they don’t know what they’re doing. But we know what we’re doing, and all of this will end. […] Ukraine and Russia had almost reached a deal, but Biden said Ukraine must be a NATO member. And the deal fell apart,” Trump explained.
It’s worth noting that Trump has also accused Biden of stealing American taxpayers’ money through Ukraine.
