05.12.2023 - 05:28In Ukraine, the frontlines are seeing an increase in the number of mice in the trenches, along with increasingly challenging weather conditions.
This is evidenced by new videos shared by Ukrainian soldiers on TikTok.
According to the fighters, “mice are crawling everywhere in packs,” as seen in the videos. Additionally, these rodents are gnawing on the soldiers’ belongings. In response, the soldiers are devising new ways to catch the rodents and are even creating entire systems for trapping them.
Moreover, staying in the trenches is becoming more complicated due to adverse weather conditions. Some areas along the front are experiencing hardening ground due to cooling temperatures, while in other sections, trenches are partially flooding, turning the earth into mud.
