This information reported according to reports from local Telegram channels accompanied by video footage recorded by bystanders near garbage bins.
The footage shows staff from the territorial recruitment center kicking and hitting a man on his legs and arms in an attempt to force him into a van.
In response, the Lviv Territorial Recruitment Center commented on the incident, acknowledging the use of physical force. According to their statement, the man had allegedly violated military registration rules and was subject to mobilization. As he did not have identification documents with him, he was asked to accompany the officers to the district recruitment center.
The man reportedly refused, used foul language, and struck one of the officers in the face with his elbow. The recruitment center stated that physical force was applied as a result of his behavior.
However, the recruitment center also announced that the officials involved in the incident have been temporarily suspended from their duties pending an investigation.
