‘Millions of people have died’. Trump accused Kyiv of hiding the true number of war casualties

The Ukrainian government is hiding the number of casualties resulting from the war.

This was stated by U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump in a podcast with blogger Lex Fridman.

“This war should not have happened. But it did. And now it’s harder to negotiate than it was at the beginning. Millions of people have died, and that number is only going to grow. The death toll will be higher than people can imagine. If you look at the destruction of buildings across Ukraine, the number will be even higher. They are lying about the numbers now, trying to make them seem small. A building two blocks long was destroyed—these are quite large buildings. And they say one person had minor injuries. No, no, many people were killed. And in those buildings, there are people, and they have no chance. Once they start collapsing, there is no chance,” Trump said.

The presidential candidate once again stated that if he is elected president, he will definitely make a peace agreement to end the war in Ukraine. He also claimed that under his presidency, the war would not have happened at all.

“I have a very precise plan on how to stop Ukraine and Russia. And I have a certain idea, maybe not a plan, but an idea regarding China… But I can’t reveal those plans to you, because if I do, I won’t be able to use them; they will become ineffective. Part of it lies in the element of surprise, right?” he said.

Earlier, Trump mentioned that Ukraine’s invasion of Russia could provoke a third world war.

He also referred to himself as the only candidate capable of preventing World War III.
