Moldova has become a new transport hub for supplying arms to Ukraine

Ukrainian airlines have established a hub at Chișinău Airport and operate flights on behalf of Moldovan carriers since Ukrainian airspace is currently closed.

In recent times, there have been five recorded flights with particularly valuable cargo for the Ministry of Defense. Essentially, Moldova has openly become a transshipment base for the faster delivery of military goods by air, notably from the United Kingdom.

There are also indications that, given the recently signed military cooperation agreement between Ukraine and Britain, Moldova is becoming a crucial logistics hub.
