03.07.2026 12:01The Monaco prosecutor’s office has issued an arrest warrant for the main suspect in the bombing that injured Ukrainian businessman Vadim Yermolaev. The suspect turned out to be a woman of Ukrainian origin.
This was reported by RTL, citing a source.
Le Figaro and BFMTV had previously also reported that the main suspect is a 30-year-old woman of Ukrainian origin. After reviewing surveillance camera footage, the outlets noted that the alleged perpetrator may have been disguised as a man. In addition to the prosecutor’s warrant, the woman is also subject to an Interpol “red notice.”
A red notice is an international alert through which member countries are informed that the law enforcement authorities of a particular state are seeking the arrest or detention of an individual.
The explosion on Rue Révérend-Père-Louis-Frolla in Monaco occurred on the evening of June 29. The suspect fled in the direction of the French commune of Beausoleil. Le Figaro reported that he may have headed toward Italy.
According to Nice-Matin, Vadim Yermolaev suffered serious burns and was taken to a hospital in Nice. He was then transported by helicopter to the Sainte-Anne hospital in Toulon, and subsequently to Marseille.
Nice-Matin, as well as the British outlets Daily Star and Metro, reported that Anna Nasobina — daughter of the former first deputy prosecutor of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and one of the co-founders of the social club Club Éclectique — was seriously injured in the explosion. She was hospitalized in critical condition and had both legs amputated.
In 2019, Vadim Yermolaev renounced his Ukrainian citizenship and obtained Cypriot citizenship. In late December 2023, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky imposed personal sanctions against Yermolaev.
