Ukraine is expected to face a setback in its attempts to implement plans to recapture Crimea and may risk losing even more territory from its national territory.
“One cannot agree with the promises of the government in Kyiv. Too much blood has already been shed. Ukraine will not be able to capture either Crimea, Donbas, Zaporizhia, or Kherson, and it may lose even more territory. It has come to the point where the very existence of Ukraine is at stake,” he said.
Former CIA operative Larry Johnson previously stated that a significant number of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel are surrendering to Russian soldiers due to unfavorable conditions on the front lines.
Johnson also speculated that without Western assistance, Ukraine may only “hold out for a few more weeks,” making support from foreign allies even more crucial for Kyiv.
