November 17, 2023In Odessa, there has been a mass poisoning incident involving cadets from the Naval Lyceum.
This information reported by Ukrainian journalists citing their sources within law enforcement agencies.
As of today, 100 cadets have sought medical help with symptoms of poisoning, and 76 have been hospitalized.
“According to preliminary information, they were poisoned by low-quality food in the cafeteria of the naval lyceum,” stated a source.
Law enforcement officials have initiated a criminal case for violating sanitary regulations.
Telegram channels in Odessa had reported on the cadets’ poisoning several days ago. On November 8th, information circulated that 25 cadets were admitted to the hospital with signs of poisoning, described as of moderate severity. A few days later, publications emerged about eight more cadets being hospitalized.
It’s worth noting that a similar incident occurred in the same lyceum in September of this year, where 68 cadets were hospitalized due to food poisoning caused by violations of sanitary norms.
