“More than a million Kyiv residents are without electricity”: Zelensky said the Air Force’s work against ‘Shahed’ drones has been unsatisfactory

As of the evening in Kyiv, more than a million consumers are without electricity, and a “significant number” of homes are without heating.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his evening address.

He also said that the work of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against “Shaheds” is unsatisfactory.

“The organization of the Air Force’s work must be different. We separately reviewed this situation with the minister of defense — there will be conclusions,” Zelensky said.

Zelensky also addressed officials, saying that he expects proposals from them on restructuring the work aimed at supporting the population and business. He emphasized the need for coordination with business. According to him, it is now necessary to figure out how to redistribute generation and existing consumption in such a way that the situation stabilizes.

Recall that at night Russian forces carried out another massive strike on Ukraine. Energy facilities were targeted. It was reported that almost half of the city’s homes were again left without heating.
