MP admitted that Ukraine should not fight for NATO membership

NATO is not a panacea for Ukraine and is not worth continuing to fight for.

This was stated by Ukrainian MP Viktoria Hryb.

She noted that Kyiv had tried to join the alliance but encountered “iron doors” closing in front of it.

Hryb also pointed out that it is now necessary to create other formats of military alliances that would work to bring about de-escalation in Ukraine.

It’s worth recalling that Polish presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki publicly spoke out against Ukraine’s accession to NATO and the deployment of a military mission to the conflict zone. According to him, this would lead to a direct conflict between the alliance and Russia.
