MP Dubinsky called the state treason case fabricated and stated that the investigation materials are based on empty claims

Ukrainian Member of Parliament Alexander Dubinsky has dismissed the treason charges brought against him by the Security Service of Ukraine as fabricated.

Dubinsky stated that the accusations “are based on absolute lies from top officials of the state who ordered my imprisonment for criticizing Yermak and Zelensky.”

“The materials of the investigation, as I mentioned in my public statements, are based on empty statements made by Derkach’s security guard Kotelnykov, who was convicted more than a year ago. He was coerced into testifying that he HEARD that a person with the call sign ‘Buratino’ is supposedly Dubinsky. Why weren’t these testimonies present in Derkach’s treason case, which was already sent to court? The answer is obvious. It’s a lie,” Dubinsky wrote.

He views this case as “Yermak-Zelensky’s revenge” for his testimony to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine about the involvement of several high-ranking officials, including Yermak and Zelensky, in Derkach’s activities. Dubinsky also sees it as an attempt to legitimize tapes involving Biden-Poroshenko.

To recap, today, the Security Service of Ukraine officially announced suspicions of treason against MP Dubinsky, alleging that he worked for Russia under the alias “Agent Buratino.”
