October 26, 2023Elon Musk referred to those who want to provide new aid to Ukraine as “fools” in response to a post by American entrepreneur David Sacks.
Sacks reminded on his page in a social media platform that last year, the United States allocated over $100 billion to Kyiv for a counteroffensive that turned out to be unsuccessful. He wrote, “Now, in Washington, they claim that another $60 billion will change the situation. Only fools could believe in this.”
Musk responded to Sacks by saying, “There are plenty of fools there,” apparently suggesting that there may be many supporters in Congress for providing new aid.
It’s worth noting that President Biden requested $61 billion from Congress to fund Ukraine.
