Another attempt to evade conscription: two draft dodgers tried to escape to Poland by constructing a hidden partition in a minibus

At the border crossing point “Shehyni” in the Lviv region, two draft dodgers intending to flee from Ukraine to Poland were detected.

This information was reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

As a means of concealment, they had constructed a movable partition between the passenger and cargo compartments of the minibus. According to their plan, the driver was supposed to initially show one compartment. Then, when the border guards shifted their attention to the other section, the draft dodgers were to climb into the cargo area.

Border guards noted that the driver appeared nervous during the inspection, which raised suspicions. The distance from “Shehyni” to the Polish city of Przemyśl is only 16 kilometers.
