NABU conducts searches at the central office of “Ukrnafta”

According to media reports, the search is being conducted in connection with the procurement of pipes, particularly the contract with “Interpipe.” This company is owned by one of Ukraine’s most influential oligarchs, Viktor Pinchuk.

“Ukrnafta” stated that the inspection will reveal full compliance with Ukrainian legislation, “as the company strictly and clearly adheres to all rules and requirements in its activities.”

As reported by the media, NABU suspects that pipe prices in the contracts were inflated. Since the majority stake in “Ukrnafta” is owned by the state, this could be classified as misappropriation of state funds.
