Russia is using aerial bombs with a range of over 150 km — military expert
03.08.2026 07:35The Naftogaz Group announced that 37 filling station complexes in its network have been destroyed as a result of ongoing Russian strikes.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement from the company.
According to Naftogaz, over the past seven months the Russian army struck 32 Ukrnafta filling station complexes and five Ukrgasvydobuvannya complexes. Some of the facilities were repaired and returned to operation, but the rest sustained critical damage and are not yet functioning.
The company also recorded frequent cases of repeated attacks — occurring after repairs had been completed and facilities had resumed operation.
Naftogaz’s statement emphasizes that filling station complexes are an important part of civilian infrastructure used daily by thousands of Ukrainians.
“In frontline regions, the operation of emergency services, municipal transport, medical workers, and rescue personnel depends on the availability of fuel. The enemy knows this perfectly well and therefore tries to make life harder for people and leave communities without critically necessary resources.”
In a broader context, the losses of the state-owned Ukrnafta network have been significantly larger: over more than 12 years of war, the company has lost 123 filling station complexes. Of these, 67 remain in temporarily occupied territories, while the rest were destroyed or ceased operations due to their proximity to the combat zone.
