The National Anti-Corruption Agency is conducting an investigation into the head of the Kharkiv Regional Council, Tatiana Yegorova-Lutsenko.
This was reported to the “Dumka” publication by the head of the Agency, Alexander Novikov.
“We are monitoring the lifestyle of the head of the Kharkiv Regional Council based on information that has been published in the media. This same information was submitted to us in writing by the complainants,” Novikov said.
Yegorova-Lutsenko herself, on her Facebook page back in August, claimed that attempts were being made to discredit her due to her principles.
“After the mud that they started pouring on me and my family! Trying to compromise me and my clear pro-Ukrainian and anti-corruption position,” she wrote.
To remind, in August, former Member of Parliament Igor Mosiychuk claimed that the family of the Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Council, Tatiana Yegorova-Lutsenko (“Servant of the People”), had purchased restaurants in Cannes and Nice, France, during the full-scale war.
According to his information, on November 3, 2022, Yegorova’s husband, Vitaliy Lutsenko, completed the purchase and was appointed president of the company that owns the restaurant in Cannes.
According to French registries, Lutsenko is a resident of France and a co-owner of the firm that owns the restaurant in Nice.
When registering the documents, he claimed to be single in order not to fall under the status of a “Politically Exposed Person” in Europe.
“And all of this, including information about himself, the presence of bank accounts, and assets in France, Tatiana Yegorova-Lutsenko did not declare in her e-declarations for 2020, 2021, and 2022,” Mosiychuk alleges.
He claims that Lutsenko traveled to France to finalize the deal using the official car of the Regional Council, a Skoda Super B, provided by his wife. To do this, Yegorova’s driver went abroad with volunteer documents.
