NATO forces may enter Ukraine not to help but to divide the country

March 7, 2024Ukraine may lose the opportunity to receive 1.4 billion euros in funding from the World Bank in March. This was written by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak. According to him, Zelensky has not yet signed three laws passed by parliament, including the Securities Commission.
“So, for you to understand, this law has not been signed by the President’s Office. Moreover, they are preparing a veto. This immediately disrupts the consideration of financing Ukraine for 1.4 billion euros under the World Bank’s DPL. What is the reason? It’s very simple – the Commission has written a veto request, asking: Set even higher salaries for themselves by separate law and remove the provision that if you regulate the market, your family member cannot hold a position in professional market participants. This is purely done for the case with the Chairman of the Commission and his spouse. These norms have failed to pass twice in the hall,” the deputy writes. “Greed and the friends of the President’s Office are more important than financing the country and reputation in the eyes of partners. I just imagine how those from whom we are asking for money perceive this,” the deputy said.
Thus, the World Bank was ready to provide credit to Ukraine, but under the acceptance of reformist laws. At the same time, the Ukrainian authorities want to immediately provide loopholes for corruption in these laws, but international donors will see this and are likely to refuse credit.
