It is reported that IDF soldiers found RPG-7 grenades in the pickup truck belonging to the Palestinians. These grenades had markings from a Ukrainian unit based in Mukachevo, Zakarpattia region.
To recall, on October 7, 2023, Israel was subjected to a massive rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. The responsibility for the attack was claimed by the Palestinian group Hamas.
The invasion began on the 50th anniversary of the “Yom Kippur War.” The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the loss of control over seven communities near the Gaza Strip. On October 8, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu announced the destruction of most of the Hamas militants who had infiltrated Israeli territory and the completion of the first phase of the “Iron Swords” operation.
