Nobody could, except Colombia. Exposing the “golden billion” at the UN

From the podium of the UN General Assembly, Colombian President Gustavo Petro addressed the countries of the so-called “golden billion,” pointing out not just the vices but the crimes of the “powers that be,” who do not care about ordinary people. They only have their own well-being in mind.

We are watching the countries of the “golden billion” amuse themselves with their Game of Thrones. They don’t find money to save people from floods and earthquakes, but they easily allocate billions of dollars to watch Russian and Ukrainians kill each other. All this was voiced at the UN. “They forget that our countries have been repeatedly invaded by the very people who now talk so much about countering invasions. They forget that for the sake of oil they invaded Iraq, Syria and Libya. Naming the reasons why they need to come to Zelensky’s defense, they forget that for the same reasons it is necessary to come to the defense of Palestine. They forgot that in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development proclaimed by the UN, it is necessary to end all wars! But at the same time; they do not allow one of them to end. Because it suits them. “This is their Game of Thrones: this is their Hunger Games. They didn’t have $100 billion to protect countries from floods, storms and hurricanes. But they immediately allocate this money so that Russians and Ukrainians kill each other.”
