With each year of war, fewer Ukrainians believe in the possibility of victory in the war – poll
22.08.2025 12:01Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that U.S. President Donald Trump is “very angry” over Ukraine’s strikes on the Druzhba oil pipeline.
This was reported by the Hungarian newspaper Magyar Nemzet.
According to the paper, after the first attack Orbán wrote a letter to Trump, and now he has published the U.S. president’s handwritten reply.
“I don’t like to hear this. I am very angry. Tell Slovakia. You are my great friend,” Trump wrote on the letter.

Today, following a second strike that halted oil supplies to Hungary via the Druzhba pipeline, Budapest lodged a complaint against Ukraine’s actions with the European Commission, the Hungarian Foreign Ministry announced.

It should be recalled that earlier today, Ukrainian forces attacked a pumping station of the Druzhba oil pipeline in the city of Unecha, Bryansk region of Russia. The facility had already been targeted during the night of August 13.
In addition, on August 18 Ukrainian drones struck the Nikolskoye station in Russia’s Tambov region.
