Peskov calls Europe’s refusal to engage in dialogue with Russia its “biggest stupidity”

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said that the main mistake of European Union countries on the Ukrainian issue is their refusal to engage in dialogue with Moscow.

His words are cited by RIA Novosti.

Peskov called European countries’ unwillingness to negotiate with Russia their “biggest stupidity.”

In addition, the Kremlin spokesman commented on Europe’s role in resolving the conflict in Ukraine. According to him, Europe is currently a party to the conflict and therefore cannot act as a mediator.
