10.07.2026 11:32Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has declared an escalation of what he called Kyiv’s “terrorist activity” against the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
He made the statement at a briefing.
According to Peskov, strikes are being carried out both against civilian infrastructure facilities and against infrastructure directly connected to the plant, including its power supply.
“Kyiv’s terrorist activity against this critically important facility is escalating; it is extremely dangerous. Strikes are being carried out against civilian infrastructure facilities and against infrastructure that is directly related to the plant itself, its power supply, and so on,” — the Kremlin spokesman said.
Peskov described the situation as extremely dangerous for a critically important facility.
