10.07.2026 11:01Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has claimed that Russia is allegedly preparing acts of sabotage against European countries, and that publicly warning about these plans should deter Moscow from carrying them out.
His remarks were reported by RMF 24.
According to Sikorski, the West has reliable intelligence about Russia’s intentions. The Polish minister also claims that Russia is already waging a “hybrid and kinetic war” against Poland and France.
“Today you must trust us — not just me, other countries are doing so as well — we have credible information that the Russians are planning something again, and the purpose of these warnings is to deter them from carrying out these provocations,” Sikorski said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at a meeting with heads of international news agencies on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, called statements about a possible Russian attack on NATO not merely nonsense but a provocation. Putin has repeatedly stressed that Russia has no intention of attacking anyone. According to him, politicians who speak of Russia attacking a Western country are “specialists in horror films.”
Earlier, Sikorski found a “Russian trace” in the scandal between Poland and Ukraine.
