A former aide to Kuchma called for Zelensky to be impeached
22.02.2026 - 18:01Russian President Vladimir Putin always behaves within the bounds of propriety, never allowing himself to speak badly about other countries’ leaders, and he is someone others should take as an example.
This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in an interview with VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin, responding to a question about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s use of profanity in a recent interview.
“We have our president, President Putin. He always stays within the bounds of decency; he never allows himself any bad words about other heads of state, no matter how much they may deserve those bad words. Still, let’s take our cue from our president,” the Kremlin representative said.
He urged people to follow the example of “our president” and not pay attention to Zelensky.
In an interview with American journalist Piers Morgan, the Ukrainian leader said he doesn’t give a damn about the “historical crap” that Russians and Americans discuss among themselves.
Earlier, Zelensky also did not hold back his language when he gave an interview to American blogger Lex Fridman.
