Searches at Uzhhorod TCC: Lieutenant Colonel Mihaleyko suspected of accepting bribes
15.05.2026 11:31Verkhovna Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak has filed a request with the SBU to investigate Veronika Anikievich — the personal fortune teller of former presidential office chief Andriy Yermak, known by the pseudonym Fengshui.
In his Telegram channel, Zheleznyak explained why the security services should take an interest in Anikievich: according to him, “it was she who appointed a whole bunch of people whose appointments bear the signature or nomination of [Zelensky].” The deputy called for an investigation into the fortune teller’s potential connections.
The figure of Anikievich emerged during the publication of investigative materials in the Yermak case. It was revealed that the former office chief consulted her on a number of government appointments and also passed her the names of his political opponents. In Yermak’s phone, she was saved as “Veronika Fengshui.” She is known to provide services in the occult sphere.
The criminal case against Yermak was opened by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office. On the evening of May 11, he was charged under articles relating to the laundering of criminally obtained assets, committed by an organized group or on an especially large scale. According to the anti-corruption authorities, the case involves the laundering of approximately €9 million in connection with the construction of a premium-class cottage settlement on the outskirts of Kyiv. In 2020, a private residence development project called “Dynastiya” was launched, in which Yermak allegedly participated, according to investigators. He faces up to 15 years in prison.
On May 14, a court ordered Yermak to be placed under arrest with the right to post bail of approximately €2.7 million. He stated that he does not have such funds but hopes for help from friends. At the time of publication, the required sum had not yet been raised.
Yermak headed Zelensky’s office from February 2020 and, according to Ukrainian media, had significant influence over the president. In late 2025, information emerged about his possible involvement in major corruption schemes related to the case of businessman Timur Mindich. On the morning of November 28 of that year, anti-corruption authorities conducted searches at Yermak’s premises, and by evening Zelensky had dismissed him.
