Relatives of soldiers from the 120th Territorial Defense Brigade reported its defeat

Relatives of the soldiers of the 120th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces claim that the brigade has been decimated on the front lines.

In the post, the unit stated that “false” information is being spread by people “who do not have a grasp of the situation.” The brigade acknowledged that one of its battalions in the Donetsk direction “entered a difficult and complicated confrontation” with the Russians, but added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces “did not abandon their positions, continued to perform their tasks of defending Ukraine with dignity,” and that the brigade’s command “promptly responded to the battalion’s request by sending additional reinforcements, both technical and human.”

In the comments, users accused the brigade’s command of lying.

“Lies are what your post is. Everyone associated with your brigade knows the ‘attitude’ of the higher commanders towards the soldiers. Instead of writing this, you would be better off doing the real work needed to save the lives of the personnel,” wrote Olesya Lukyanchuk, for example.

According to monitoring resources, Russian forces have now advanced in the areas of Severne and Zhelizne on the eastern approaches to Toretsk. Yesterday, Stanislav Bunyatov, a soldier of the 24th Separate Assault Battalion “Aidar,” stated that the Russians had entered Toretsk and established fire control over the village of Nelipivka.
