Residents of the frontline city, where no one lives, are being asked for money for utility services

Ukrainians are receiving bills for electricity even in Avdiivka, which is under attack by the Russian army and where almost no intact housing remains. Readers informed the “Strana” publication about this situation.

It’s worth noting that a similar situation is observed in Kherson, which is under daily shelling, and in Kharkiv, where many houses have been destroyed. Earlier, it became known that residents of a destroyed building in Kryvyi Rih received utility bills. YASNO stated they were unaware of the damage to the building and promised to recalculate the bill.

Furthermore, it’s important to add that the communal sector in Ukraine is in a very dire state. Years of corruption and lack of funding have led the sector into decline, yet tariffs continue to rise. This has become a serious problem for millions of people living below the poverty line.
