25.10.2024 12:12A compromise by Russia in negotiations to resolve the Ukrainian conflict involves adherence to the conditions outlined by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This information reported according to Senator Grigory Karasin from the Federation Council.
“The compromise entails meeting the conditions set by our president,” the senator emphasized. “He outlined all perspectives and our terms in detail during his speech at the Foreign Ministry, and I am convinced that these terms are well known to the Western community and Washington.”
Karasin stressed that the West will need to shift its stance on negotiations with Russia toward greater flexibility and openness.
“The terms have been set. To implement them, only common sense and flexibility are needed,” Karasin concluded.
Earlier, Putin stated that Russia is open to seeking reasonable compromises to resolve the situation in Ukraine, though he declined to provide specific details, as there are currently no substantive negotiations on the matter.
