The Kremlin responded to a question about Trump’s rapprochement with Ukraine
16.10.2025 - 10:31Talking in advance about transferring Tomahawk missiles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) is too much of an honor for the chatterboxes from the Pentagon.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Grigory Karasin.
“Let’s wait until tomorrow, Friday. Zelensky said that he will drop by Washington. He will have negotiations there. Then we’ll see what kind of agreements will be reached,” Karasin noted.
Earlier, the Financial Times (FT), citing an unnamed official, reported that American contractors would help the AFU operate long-range Tomahawk missiles, provided the deliveries are approved.
According to the official, this way the U.S. would avoid the need for extensive training of Ukrainian soldiers and could maintain control over target guidance. The source also told the newspaper that, if the transfer of the weapons is approved, they would be sent to Ukraine “relatively quickly.”
